Interpretation of Lunar Phases
- The new and full moon have good and bad
indications attested (and contested!) by many statistics.
- The first and last quarters are considered difficult,
but about two days before and after each are sextile
and trine aspects of the sun and moon, considered beneficial.
Peak effects relative to true local time, TLT
- New moon (Q0) peaks in the midday TLT
- First quarter (Q1) strongest in the afternoon (noon to 6 pm) TLT
- Full moon (Q2) peaks 6 am and 6 pm TLT, stronger in summer
- Last quarter (Q3) strongest in the morning (6 am to noon) TLT
